The Curefest 2024 offered opportunities for advocacy at the highest level - Congress. This Youth advocacy led to the passage of 2 bills by the House for the advancement of childhood cancer research. We also attended the 15th Annual Childhood Cancer summit by the Congressional Caucus on Childhood Cancer. Also on the agenda was Bereavement support sessions for parents and siblings; The Angel Wall and the Fighter/Survivor wall where photos of children with cancer sent in by their families are displayed; A memorial event to name the children lost and remember them. 

We also participated in the 'Walk to the Capitol', the shoe display at the National Monument and the closing events that included sibling/fighter medalling, presentations and rallies.
