TRANSFORMING LIVES THROUGH HOPE
According to available statistics, an
estimated 400,000 children around
the world develop cancer each year,
only half of whom are ever diagnosed.
With over two years of making a real
impact in the lives of children fighting
cancer, our collective generosity can
be the beacon of hope for those
who need it most.
Join us in the fight against
childhood cancer and help us raise
awareness and
support for these children
and their families.

OUR MISSION
Akanimo Cancer Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) approved non-profit, created in honor of Akanimo who was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive childhood cancer called Desmoplastic Small Round cell tumor (DSRCT) at 10 years old and died 2 years later at 12 years old.
Our mission is to raise awareness for childhood cancer, provide support to families affected by childhood cancer including bereavement support and also support increased research for better treatments and cures.
